# SCE aims and objectives

Scholastic continuous Evaluation is for the following :

• Use evaluation data for improving teaching-learning strategies

• Utilize assessment data as a quality control device to raise academic outcomes

• Enable teachers to make student-centric decisions about learners’ processes of learning and learning environments

• Transform teaching and learning into a student-centric activity

Assessment processes. The SCE process is made up of Semester 1 and Semester 2..

Semester 1 and 2. In Semester 1 and 2 Marks are given by Co-Curricular educational activities and written exams. Exams include literal subjects such as languages, mathematics, environment, science, mathematics and social science. Marks of such exam is given weight-age of 40% while co-curricular activity is given weight-age of 40% and weight-age of 20% marks is given by daily routine work of student like project, home work etc. All this process is adopted for class 3 to class 8
